We all seek stability in a world of change, yet anxiety persists. This suffering is not from external events, but from internal bondage. Only by seeing the voidness of arising can we find true freedom.
The Root of Craving
Suffering arises from attachment to the self. When we mistake transient phenomena for permanence, we feel an urge to grasp. This force turns the flow of life into a heavy burden.
Like grieving for a fallen flower, it is the 'love' or attachment within that causes the pain. Without this projection, the cycle of birth and death is simply the natural flow of reality.
The Way of Cessation
To extinguish the fire of affliction, we must stop fueling the illusion of 'me.' Through introspection, observe the origin of every thought and see its empty nature.
Practicing non-attachment means not being stuck to good or bad circumstances. By letting go of the desire to possess, the mind stops drifting and finds its inherent stillness.
The Return to Nirvana
When the fire lacks fuel, the burning sensation naturally subsides, revealing a self-sufficient coolness. This peace is the fearlessness that comes from understanding interdependence.
May we all find the unarisen clarity amidst complexity, letting the lamp of life burn steadily in a windless place, dwelling in peace and letting go with grace.
