Most people swing between "reality" and "illusion," either clinging to the physical world or falling into nihilism. True liberation is not escaping reality, but seeing the unchanging essence within the ever-changing forms, achieving a state of non-obstruction.
The Unity of Principle and Form
"Principle" is the void essence, while "Phenomena" are the flowing appearances. They are like water and waves. The essence manifests through forms, and forms rely on the essence. Realizing they are neither one nor two is the core of the sudden teaching.
Clinging to forms leads to suffering, while denying forms leads to stagnation. The true view is seeing "illusion as reality" and vice-versa. We must not forcibly divide nature from appearance but realize the truth within everyday actions.
By understanding this unity, we walk through the world unstained. Every object and gesture embodies the entire Dharma realm. This wisdom of non-attachment is the starting point of spiritual transformation.
The Interpenetration of All Things
As this understanding deepens, we enter the realm of "Non-obstruction among Phenomena." Since everything shares the same essence, barriers dissolve. Like a thousand lamps in one room, their lights intermingle without blocking each other.
As the saying goes, "a universe in a single hair," even the smallest thing contains the vast cosmos. This state breaks the limits of time and space, revealing that every thought is connected to the infinite web of existence.
In our interactions, this translates to treating everything with equanimity. Conflicts turn into harmony. This is not just philosophy, but the natural expression of a mind that encompasses the universe.
The Freedom of the Original Mind
Success in practice comes through "non-attainment." By letting go of the ego, we dissolve the wall between self and other. In this emptiness, natural wisdom arises, allowing us to help others effortlessly and skillfully.
Contemplating the mind, we see it is complete and all-pervading. The physical body is like a bubble in the ocean, while our true nature is the ocean itself. Realizing this brings us back to our eternal, original mind.
Thus, every moment becomes a place of practice. We engage with the world without being stained by it, finding absolute freedom within the endless cycles of cause and effect.

世人常在“真”与“假”之间徘徊,要么执着于感官的真实,要么落入空无的消极。其实,佛法所言的解脱,并非逃离现实,而是在万象森罗中洞见不生不灭的本性,达成理事圆融的生命状态。
理事不二的妙用
“理”是空灵的本质,“事”是流动的现象。二者并非对立,而是如水与波的关系。理体借事相而显发,事相依理体而建立,即空即有才是大乘顿教的真义。
若执着现象为实,便会陷入得失的泥潭;若否定现象为虚,则会枯坐死灰。真正的见地是看到“假即是真,真即是假”,不强行分割本性与现象,在事相中体证如如不动。
唯有明白理事不二,我们才能在红尘中行走而不被尘垢所染。茶杯、桌椅皆是理体的示现,每一处细微的动作都蕴含着法界的全体,这种不即不离的智慧是转凡成圣的起点。
事事无碍的交融
当理事无碍的见地深入骨髓,便能契入“事事无碍”的圆教法界。由于一切事物共享同一个理体,万法之间不再有隔阂。如同一室千灯,光光相照,互不遮掩。
正如“毛端现刹、尘里转轮”,极小的事物中亦能包容极大的宇宙。这种境界打破了时空的局限,让修行者意识到,任何一个微小的起心动念,都与整个法界紧密相连,重重无尽。
在日常接物中,这意味着我们能以平等心看待万物。现象与现象之间的对立感消失了,冲突转化为和谐。这不仅是哲学上的推演,更是修行者心包太虚后,自然流露出的圆融德相。
获本妙心的自在
实修的捷径在于“无所得”。当我们放下对自我的抓取,便能消除内外的对立。在这种空掉自我的状态中,一种不假造作的神通智慧会自然生起,让我们能随缘教化,自利利他。
反观自心,就像阿难所悟,清净本心周遍圆满。我们的肉身不过是大海中的一粒浮泡,而自性是大海本身。明悟此点,便能从个体的局限中解脱,证得常住不灭的本妙真心。
于是在行住坐卧间,无一处不是道场,无一事不是修行。看破而不废事,入世而不染尘,在重重无尽的缘起中,书写出圆满的人生篇章。
